

What kind of dance does Primo perform? Primo’s unique choreography encompasses a variety of dance forms including hip-hop, jazz, modern, lyrical, ballet, and ethnic choreography. Who Can Be A Member of Primo? Primo members must be currently enrolled UIC students. How Do You Join Primo? If you would like to become a Primo Dance Troupe member you must audition. Auditions take place in September and January of each year. More information on auditions for Primo When Does Primo Practice? Regular Primo practices are held every Tuesday and Thursday in SRC (Polk and Halsted) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Additional practices may be added as needed to prepare for major performances or competitions. As well as extended practices i.e. 6:30-9:30pm. Where Does Primo Perform? Primo performs at a variety of statewide venues upon request, at UIC events, and at competitions.
